Crazy little thing called love

Après avoir passé un début d'après-midi scrappesque, je viens vous montrer ma page toute fraîche!

Sur ces photos, mes puces étaient en plein quart d'heure de folie dans leurs pyjamas assortis et leurs bandeaux Hello Kitty! J'adore ces petits moments où elles jouent et rigolent toutes les deux même si ce n'est pas toujours une partie de plaisir pour mes oreilles!

Pour commencer ma page, j'ai étalé du gesso pour obtenir un carré autour duquel j'ai fait un peu de couture. J'ai déchiré les côtés et relévé légèrement les bords du papier placé sous les photos. J'ai ajouté mes quelques embellissements: un napperon, des fleurs que j'ai dessinées et découpées, des papillons provenant du paper pad de la collection Vintage Bliss de Simple Stories (tout comme le papier de fond et les lettres du mot 'love'). J'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant le titre pour lequel j'ai utilisé différents alphabets.

After a scrappy afternoon, I'm back with a brand new layout!

On theses pictures, my girls were in the middle of their mad half an hour, in their matching pajamas and Hello Kitty headband! I love these little moments when they play and laugh together even though these aforesaid moments are not always music to my ears! 

To start my layout, I spread some gesso into a square shape with an old card. I then did a bit of stitching following the sides of the gesso square. I tore and slightly lifted the edges of the paper under the pictures. I added a few embellishments: a doily, a few flowers that I drew and cut out, butterflies coming from the Simple Stories' Vintage Bliss paper pad (just like the background paper and the letters of the word 'love'). I finished my layout by adding the title using various alpha stickers.

- embellissements / embellishments: alphabets / alpha stickers (American Crafts, My Litlle Shoebox, Simple Stories), enamel dots (My Mind's Eye-Lost & Found Record It Heirloom), napperon / doily, gesso, stylo noir / black pen.
