The 5 of us

Bonjour!

Hi there!

I don't know about you but, for me, making a layout often takes several hours. I have to choose the papers and the embellishments according to the colors of the picture (that part can take a LONG time). I have to think of how I am going to put all of them together on the page. I try something out to finally start again because I am not really pleased with it... There was nothing like that for this layout that came together pretty quickly and easily, without too much thinking. And that felt really good! ^^

Once again, I worked with a black and white photo, which really makes things easier for me: the choosing-the-papers-and-the-embellishments part was A LOT shorter! I mainly used MME supplies coming from various collections and I think they match really nicely.

This family portrait was taken about two years ago. Actually, I don't have a lot of family pictures with the five of us as it's not always easy to get all of us together long enough to take a picture or to find someone to take the picture in the first place! So, when a nice lady proposed to take a snapshot of us while we were having a walk in the forest, we gladly accepted her offer.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Bazzill, My Mind's Eye (Jubilee-Mint Julep, Just Sayin).
- embellissements / embellishments: découpes en papier / die cuts (My Mind's Eye-Jubilee Mint Julep), mots autocollants / word stickers (My Mind's Eye-Find Your Wings & Fly-Sky's the Limit), badge / flair (My Mind's Eye-Market Street Ashbury Heights), enamel dots (My Mind's Eye-Just Record It Charmed), découpe en bois / wood veneer (Studio Calico), encre / ink (Izink Pigment Caviar), twine, stylo noir / black pen.

Bon week-end à vous et à bientôt!
Have a lovely weekend! Bye for now!
