8 today

Bonjour!

Ma fille aînée a 8 ans aujourd'hui et voici la carte que je lui ai faite ainsi que la recette pour la réaliser. ^^

J'ai commencé par plier en deux une feuille de paper pad 15x15 (de la collection Rise & Shine d'Amy Tangerine pour American Crafts). Après avoir arrondi tous les bords, j'ai collé sur le devant un rectangle de papier plus petit provenant du même paper pad. Puis, j'ai ajouté quelques embellissements: une girafe en calque que j'ai parée d'un nœud rose, des chipboards et un enamel shape.

Bref, une carte toute simple et rapide à réaliser mais originale et girly à souhait!

My eldest daughter is turning 8 today. So I made her a card that I am sharing with you today, along with the recipe to make it! ^^

As a base for the card, I started with folding a sheet of paper (coming from Amy Tangerine's Rise & Shine 6x6 paper pad) in two. After playing with my corner puncher, I glued a smaller rectangle of paper, coming from the aforementioned paper pad, on the front of the card. I then added a few embellishments, mainly coming from the Maggie Holmes and Confetti collections: a vellum giraffe that I adorned with a pink bow, some chipboards and an enamel heart. 

Definitely a simple and quick card to make but also quite original and girly, don't you think?
