You shine

Bonjour!

Hello!

I'm back with a new layout that I'd like to share with you today, using the On Trend 2 line by My Mind's Eye and a picture from last summer that makes me long for hot sunny days as the weather over here isn't summery at all right now!

I played with my scissors and craft knife and summoned my patience to cut triangles following the patterns of a 6x6 pad sheet as well as hexagons in patterned paper and butterflies in white cardstock, using a template to draw them first. I adhered the triangles with foam squares, placing them all over the page so as to make little suns. I filled the center of the suns on the edges of the page with butterflies and enamel dots and I placed the hexagons that I stitched with sequins, just like sunbeams, in the middle of the page. I backed the photo with a piece of patterned paper, added another butterfly and a Feed Your Craft mini flair badge for the title and I sticked the pic in the center of the layout using foam squares here again for dimension.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Bazzill, My Mind's Eye (On Trend 2).
- embellissements / embellishments: badge / mini flair (Feed Your Craft-You Are Lovely), enamel dots (My Mind's Eye-On Trend 2), sequins, fil / thread.

Hi!

I hope your first summer weekend is going well!

I've been playing again with the Fancy Free collection that I mixed with the Cedar Lane line on a new 12x12 layout using a picture of my little one and our Frenchie wandering in the garden.

I wanted to make a colorful spiral on the entire page. So I started by drawing a spiral on white cardstock with a pencil and sticked semi-circles, that I cut in paper 03 from Fancy Free and in the Cedar Lane 6x6 pad, following the pencil marks. I placed transparent sequins between each semi-circle to add a shiny touch to the page. As the layout was already very colorful, I wanted to keep the middle of the page white and light and decided to make a heart with sequins to put under the photo. So I drew and cut a heart in a piece of white cardstock and covered it with white sequins: it took me a while but I really like how that turned out! I put the finishing touches to my page by adorning the pic with acetate die-cuts, a puffy sticker and a Feed Your Craft mini flair badge.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Bazzill, Pink Paislee (Cedar Lane, Fancy Free).
- embellissements / embellishments: badge / mini flair (Feed Your Craft-Hello Life), découpes en acétate / acetate die-cuts (Pink Paislee-Cedar Lane; Fancy Free), sticker (Pink Paislee-Paige Evans Fancy Free), sequins.

Merci beaucoup d'être passé! Je vous souhaite une très bonne journée!

In bloom

Bonjour!

Hello!

I hope your week is going well!

I've been playing again with paint, the Bloom collection by Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper and another photo of my little one wandering in the garden on a new layout that I'd like to share with you today. I played along with Paper Issues' June Mix It Up challenge which is all about using acrylic paint on a project.

I started by spreading black acrylic paint with a paint brush in the middle of the page. I then got busy making layers with pieces of paper from the Bloom 6x6 pad to put under the picture. Once the paint was dry, I drew an arabesque with a pencil, pierced the paper following the pencil marks, erased them and stitched it with white thread. I then placed the cluster with the photo and the papers on the page and added embellies on, under and around the picture: alpha stickers, doilies, a frame, a bow, twine, flowers, leaves and butterflies that I cut in a paper pad sheet. To complete the title, I placed a couple of thickers, that I painted white using gesso, along the arabesque.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Crate Paper (Maggie Holmes Bloom).
- embellissements / embellishments: stickers (Crate Paper-Maggie Holmes Bloom), cadre / frame (Crate Paper-Maggie Holmes Styleboard), découpe en acétate / acetate die-cut (Crate Paper-Maggie Holmes Confetti), thickers (American Crafts), nœud / bow (Heidi Swapp), twine (Docrafts), napperons / doilies (Dovecrafts), peinture acrylique / acrylic paint (Seurat), gesso, fil / thread.

Merci de votre attention et à bientôt!

My most favorite flower

Bonjour!

Hi!

I'm already back with a new project that I want to share with you today. It's a 8.5x11 page that I made for Feed Your Craft using a mini flair badge from the 'Oh, Harriet' pack, Pink Paislee Fancy Free supplies and paint.

I wanted to combine this lovely picture of my eldest girl in the garden with the floral paper from the Fancy Free line. At first, I thought about placing the pic and the fussy cut flowers on a sheet of patterned paper and finally decided to make my own backgroud using white cardstock and paint. I made diagonal lines with two shades of green paint, leaving the borders of the page white. As I don't have light green paint, I mixed the dark green one, that I also used on the background, with yellow paint and gesso. Once the paint was dry, I placed the flowers and the picture on the page and got busy with the title. I adhered puffy stickers on the photo and, as I don't have a cutting machine, I made my own die-cuts using printed words as templates, craft scissors and patterned paper. I adorned the title with a fun and lovely flair badge featuring Harriet dressed as a bee -the perfect outfit among all these flowers, right?!- and I sprinkled the page with sequins and enamel dots for more dimension.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Bazzill, Pink Paislee (Paige Evans Fancy Free).
- embellissements / embellishments: badge / mini flair (Feed Your Craft-Oh, Harriet), stickers (Pink Paislee-Fancy Free), enamel dots (American Crafts Dear Lizzy), sequins, peinture / paint (Crayola), gesso.

Hello!

I hope you're having a great weekend!

I'm popping in today to share a colorful Father's Day card. To make the basis for the card, I cut a strip in paper 06 from Pink Paislee Fancy Free and I adorned each square with various embellishments: a banner cut in half, thickers, enamel dots and patterned paper semi-circles. I adhered the paper items with foam tape to make them pop from the card.

Happy Father's Day!

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Pink Paislee (Paige Evans Fancy Free).
- embellissements / embellishments: découpe en papier / die-cut (Pink Paislee-Fancy Free), thickers (American Crafts-Amy Tangerine Finders Keepers), enamel dots (My Mind's Eye-On Trend 2).

Merci de votre visite et bonne journée!

Nous

Bonjour!

J'espère que vous allez bien. :)

Hi there!

I hope you are doing well. :)

I have a new project that I'd like to share with you today. It's a layout using the Bloom collection by Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper, ink, a Feed Your Craft mini flair badge from the 'All Girl' pack and a photo of the girls and me snapped in Montblanc, in Spain, a couple of months ago.

I started by spreading black ink with a wet paintbrush and making stains on the background paper. For the title, I used a template that I printed and cut in order to draw it on a 6x6 pad sheet. I then cut it with craft scissors and put it under the pic that I backed with patterned paper. I played with my scissors again and cut a banner and flowers in 6x6 pad sheets and placed them on the title and the photo. Finally, I adorned the title with a flair badge and I added a few stickers around the pic and the title.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Crate Paper (Maggie Holmes Bloom).
- embellissements / embellishments: badge / mini flair (Feed Your Craft-All Girl), stickers (Crate Paper-Maggie Holmes Bloom), encre / ink (Izink Pigment Caviar).

Colore le monde

Bonjour!

Hello!

I'm back with a new layout using the Fancy Free collection by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee as well as a photo of my big girl snapped last summer during a chalk drawing contest. I played along with Paper Issues' June Take 5 Challenge by using white, patterned paper, cardstock, ink and flowers on my page.

To make this layout, I played with my craft scissors and cut lots of hearts in several sheets of patterned paper. I folded them gently and placed them just like tiles on two opposite corners of the page. I hand stitched the title, inpired by a song from a French band called Les Innocents, using pieces of paper on which I printed the words to pierce the cardstock. I also made ink stains with the same colors I used for the title. To place the picture without hiding a part of the title, I made slits along a couple of letters with a craft knife and tucked the pic in. Finally, I adorned the photo with a frame, a die-cut and hand cut flowers.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Bazzill, Pink Paislee (Paige Evans-Fancy Free).
- embellissements / embellishments: ephemera (Pink Paislee-Fancy Free), encres en spray / ink sprays, fil / thread.

Merci beaucoup d'être passé par ici. Je vous souhaite un très bon dimanche!

Hello gorgeous

Bonjour!

Hi!

I hope your week is off to a great start!

I'm starting this new week with a new 8.5x11 page featuring the MME On Trend 2 and Hello Gorgeous lines as well as a picture of my eldest girl snapped in the garden a couple of weeks ago.

I had no precise idea in mind before getting started on this project, which is rather unusual for me: I like to know where I'm going! I just knew I wanted to use this beautiful floral paper from the On Trend 2 6x6 pad. So I cut along the flowers at the top and at the bottom of the paper with my craft knife in order to tuck the photo in. I then had a look at my stash and saw the pack of Hello Gorgeous stitched brads and thought I could try to turn the packaging into a tag. I placed it under the pic, hiding the holes made by the brads at the same time, just leaving one of the brads on it. I added a couple of stamped flowers and hand-cut branches at the top and at the bottom of the photo. At that point, I felt like there was something missing on the page. So, I decided to spread green ink on the white cardstock with a wet paintbrush. Once the background was dry, I adhered all the items with foam squares or a tiny bit of glue for dimension. I put the finishing touch by adding enamel dots as well as a mini flair badge from Feed Your Craft and by making stains with gold ink.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Bazzill, My Mind's Eye (On Trend 2).
- embellissements / embellishments: badge / mini flair (Feed Your Craft-You Are Lovely), brad brodé / stitched brad (My Mind's Eye-Hello Gorgeous), enamel dots (My Mind's Eye-On Trend 2), tampon / stamp (Florilèges Design), encre / ink (Izink Pigment Gold, Versafine Onyx Black, encre en spray / ink spray), ruban / ribbon.

Merci de votre visite et à bientôt!

Keep growing

Bonjour!

Hi there!

Happy Friday! I hope your week went well!

I've been playing with the beautiful Keep Growing kit from Feed Your Craft and now I have a new project I'd like to share with you today. It's a 8.5x11 page using a picture of my little one wandering in the garden a few days ago.

The papers from the kit are really gorgeous and I just had to use them all on my page, just like the mini flair actually! I started with trimming the Keep Going paper for the background. I then cut a strip in the Rain Like Confetti paper, I stitched one edge with white sequins and I placed it on the background paper. I cut rectangles in the Line by Line and Meadow Run papers and then cut them in four pieces so as to get triangles with which I made bows. I made flowers using the Just Bloom and Bees Knees papers and placed them in the center of the bows, along with mini flair badges. I also used the card that came as a present with the kit to back the photo: I cut along the edges of the flowers at the bottom of the card with my craft knife to tuck the pic in. I stamped some love and the date on it and added a flair badge and pretty patterns that I cut in the Collecting Hope paper on either side of the photo. Finally, I sprinkled the page with a couple of rain drops coming from the same papers I used for the background. To add dimension to the page, I adhered the photo and the rain drops with foam squares and I curved the edges of the bows.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Feed Your Craft (Keep Growing).
- embellissements / embellishments: badges / mini flair (Feed Your Craft-Keep Growing), tampon / stamp (American Crafts), encre / ink (Versafine Onyx Black), sequins, fil / thread.

Merci de votre attention et à bientôt!
