J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui inspirée par le Working Title challenge de mai de Paper Issues. Ce mois-ci, Amanda Baldwin nous propose de réaliser un projet avec un titre tout en courbes. Pour ma page, j'ai utilisé la collection Take Me Away de Paige Evans & Pink Paislee ainsi qu'une photo de ma fille aînée prise à Venise le mois dernier.

I have a new page to share with you today inspired by the Paper Issues May Working Title challenge. This month, Amanda Baldwin challenges us to create a project featuring a curved title. For my layout, I used Take Me Away by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee and a pic of my oldest girl snapped in Venice last month.

Pour le fond, j'ai choisi un cardstock gris sur lequel j'ai tracé deux cercles à l'aide de casseroles! J'ai ensuite percé le papier en suivant les lignes à l'aide d'une épingle, j'ai effacé les traits de crayon et j'ai cousu les cercles à la main avec du fil blanc. J'ai tracé puis découpé des cœurs dans quelques feuilles du paper pad Take Me Away, je les ai pliés légèrement et collés sur le cercle extérieur avec de la mousse 3D. 

I went with gray for the background and drew circles on the cardstock using saucepans! I pierced the paper following the pencils lines, erased them and handstitched the circles with white thread. I then drew and cut out hearts from Take Me Away 6x6 papers, folded them gently and placed them on the big circle with foam squares.

J'ai placé la photo préalablement mattée à droite de la page et l'ai agrémentée de quelques embellissements de la collection: des fleurs découpées dans un papier, des cadres, des chipboards et un bouton. J'ai ajouté des thickers le long du petit cercle pour le titre et j'ai terminé avec des bandes de journaling et quelques enamel dots blancs.

I added the matted photo on the right-hand side of the page and adorned it with Take Me Away embellies: fussy cut flowers, frames, chipboard stickers and a button. I placed the title along the small circle and finished off my page by adding journaling strips and white enamel dots.

Hello You're Awesome & You Rock - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Vous pouvez me retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla Studio avec des cartes masculines réalisées avec la toute nouvelle collection You Rock. C'est la première fois que je l'utilise et elle est tout simplement géniale! J'aime beaucoup ces couleurs vives et ses motifs pêchus! Ça me change des collections féminines que j'ai l'habitude d'utiliser et je me suis beaucoup amusée à faire ces cartes!

I'm up on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog today with a set of masculine cards using the brand new You Rock collection. It's the first time I'm playing with it and it's awesome! I love its happy colors and funky patterns! I usually use girly supplies on my projects. So creating with this boy line is pretty refreshing and so much fun!

Pour la base de mes cartes, je me suis tournée vers le noir et blanc en découpant des carrés de 15x15 cm dans les superbes papiers Night Sky et Random. J'adore leur côté graphique! J'ai ensuite plié les carrés en deux, j'ai découpé des rectangles dans le papier Galactic et dans le verso du papier Night Sky et je les ai placés sur le dessus de mes cartes.

I went with black and white for the base of the cards and cut 6x6 squares in the pretty Nught Sky and Random papers. I love their graphic look! I then folded the squares in half, cut out rectangles from the B-side of the Night Sky paper and from the Galactic paper and placed them on the top of each card.

J'ai ensuite ajouté de jolis embellissements de la collection sur le dessus de mes cartes: des découpes de l'ephemera pack, des rubber charms, des chipboards, des étoiles en bois et un autocollant. J'ai utilisé un mot en bois et un des badges de la collection pour le titre et j'ai apporté une touche scintillante à mes cartes avec quelques enamel shapes colorés.

I then got busy emebellishing and layered yummy You Rock embellies on the top of the cards: pretty die cuts from the ephemera pack, cute rubber charms, chipboard stickers, wood veneer stars and a sticker from the accessory stickers sheet. I used a wood veneer word and one of the awesome flair buttons for the sentiments and I added a shiny touch to my cards with colorful enamel shapes.

Pour apporter du volume à un projet, rien de mieux que des chipboards, des découpes en bois et des badges! J'ai également collé certains éléments avec de la mousse 3D pour les faire ressortir.

Flair buttons, chipboard and wood veneer pieces are such a great way to add dimension to a project! I also used foam squares on some items to make them pop a bit more.

Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager une carte de fête des mères réalisée avec la superbe collection Wild at Heart de Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

I'm popping in today to share a Mother's Day card I made with the gorgeous Wild at Heart collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

J'ai utilisé du carton ondulé blanc pour la base et j'ai ensuite superposé des cadres de l'ephemera pack ainsi qu'un napperon en haut de la carte. J'ai ajouté des mots en bois pour le titre ainsi que d'autres belles découpes de l'ephemera pack. J'ai apporté la touche finale avec un cœur en bois que j'ai placé en bas de la carte et quelques enamels dots pailletés.

I used white corrugated paper for the base and layered pretty frames from the ephemera pack and a doily from my stash at the top of the card. I added wood veneer words for the title and other beautiful die cuts from the ephemera pack. Finally, I placed a wood veneer heart at the bottom of the card and added a bit of shine with a couple of sparkly enamel dots.

Il s'agit du challenge "ABC, it's Easy as 123" pour lequel il faut créer un design avec des lettres autocollantes. Pour ma page, j'ai utilisé les collections Fancy Free, Take Me Away et Oh My Heart de Paige Evans & Pink Paislee ainsi qu'une photo des filles sur la plage.

I'm back with a new page inspired by one of the Paper Issues NSD challenges, 'ABC, it's Easy as 123'. This challenge is all about creating a design on a project with alpha stickers or thickers. For my layout, I used Fancy Free, Take Me Away and Oh My Heart by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee along with a photo of the girls playing on the beach.

J'ai commencé par coudre les bords d'un morceau de cardstock rose clair que j'ai placé sur une feuille 30x30 de la collection Oh My Heart. J'ai ensuite ajouté le titre tout en formant le chiffre 2 sur la gauche de la page avec des thickers Fancy Free.

I started by stitching the borders of a piece of pink cardstock that I backed with a Oh My Heart patterned paper. I then added the title and made a 2 with Fancy Free thickers on the left-hand side of the page.

J'ai ajouté un napperon et la photo que j'ai collée avec de la mousse 3D pour apporter du relief et je me suis affairée à embellir ma page avec des fleurs découpées dans des papiers Fancy Free et Take Me Away, des découpes en papier des trois collections, un puffy sticker Oh My Heart, des enamel dots et un badge Feed Your Craft.

I added a doily and the photo using foam squares for dimension and got busy embellishing my page with Fancy Free and Take Me Away fussy cut flowers, die cuts from the three collections, a Oh My Heart puffy sticker, enamel dots and a Feed Your Craft flair badge.

Hello Lovely - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla Studio! Cette fois-ci, c'est ma chienne qui est à l'honneur avec une jolie photo prise il y a quelques années que j'ai associée à la collection Hello Lovely. C'est la première fois que je l'utilise et je la trouve magnifique! J'adore ses motifs girly et ses couleurs douces avec cette touche de noir!

I'm sharing a new layout on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog today! This time, I put the spotlight on my Frenchie using a sweet pic snapped a couple of years ago and the Hello Lovely collection. It's actually the first time I'm playing with this line and it's beautiful! I love its girly patterns and soft colors mixed with a touch of black!

J'ai été inspirée par les jolies fleurs de cette collection et j'ai décidé d'associer les papiers Delightful et Glimmer pour créer le fond. J'ai coupé le papier Delightful en diagonale de manière à obtenir des triangles et j'ai placé deux d'entre eux en haut et en bas du papier Glimmer.

I was inspired by the pretty florals and decided to combine the Delightful and Glimmer papers for my background. I cut the Delightful paper diagonally so as to get triangles and placed two of them at the top and at the bottom of the Glimmer paper.

Pour mieux faire ressortir la photo, j'ai choisi de la matter avec un papier plus neutre que ceux que j'ai utilisés pour le fond. Je suis partie sur l'idée du coeur que j'ai découpé de l'autre côté du papier Delightful, avec sa jolie couleur rose pâle, et j'ai cousu les bords avec du fil blanc. J'aime beaucoup la texture et la douceur qu'apportent les points de couture et le fil blanc à la page!

To make the photo pop against the busy background, I decided to back it with a more neutral paper. I went for a heart and cut it out from the reverse side of the Delightful paper, with its lovely light pink color, and stitched the borders with white thread. I really like the texture and the soft look that the stitching and the white thread bring to the page!

J'ai placé le cœur au centre, avec la photo et un napperon, et je me suis ensuite affairée à embellir ma page. J'ai glissé de jolies fleurs et une esperluette de l'ephemera pack sous la photo. J'adore les motifs floraux de cette collection! 

I placed the heart in the center of the page, along with the photo and a doily from my stash, and started embellishing. I tucked beautiful flowers and a pretty ampersand from the ephemera pack under the pic. I just can't get enough of this floral pattern! So pretty!

J'ai ajouté des coins en papier et un fanion de l'ephemera pack sur la photo et j'ai décoré le cœur en papier avec d'autres jolies découpes de la collection. Pour finir, j'ai placé le titre, ainsi qu'un papillon de l'accessory stickers sheet, sous la photo et j'ai disséminé quelques enamel dots sur les découpes en papier.

I added paper corners and a pennant from the ephemera pack on the pic and adorned my paper heart with more Hello Lovely die cuts. I placed the title, along with a butterfly from the accessory stickers sheet, under the photo, scattered some shiny enamel dots on the die cuts and my layout was complete!
