Summer adventure

Bonjour!

J'espère que vous passez une agréable semaine! J'ai une nouvelle page à vous montrer aujourd'hui inspirée par le Scrap Soup challenge du mois de juillet de Paper Issues. Pour participer à ce challenge, il faut créer un projet en utilisant tous les éléments de la liste concoctée par Mary Ann Jenkins: un carré de 15x15cm, des lettres, 6 embellissements, un papier à motif pour le fond et un motif découpé. Pour ma page, j'ai utilisé la collection Chasing Dreams de Maggie Holmes et Crate Paper ainsi qu'une photo récente de ma fille aînée sur la plage.

I hope you're having a lovely week so far! I'd like to share a new layout with you today featuring Chasing Dreams by Maggie Holmes & Crate Paper and a photo of my oldest daughter on the beach a few days ago. I played along with the Paper Issues July Scrap Soup challenge and used all the items on Mary Ann Jenkins's list: a 6x6 square, alphabet letters, 6 embellishments, a patterned paper background and fussy cutting.

Pour commencer, j'ai superposé des feuilles du paper pad Chasing Dreams au centre du papier de fond. J'ai matté la photo avec un autre morceau de papier à motif et je l'ai collée avec des carrés de mousse 3D.

I started by layering 6x6 papers from the Chasing Dreams 6x6 pad in the center of the page. I matted the pic with another piece of patterned paper and placed it on the layers with foam squares.

J'ai glissé un napperon et des fleurs découpées dans un papier à motif sous la photo et j'ai utilisé un mot autocollant et des thickers pour le titre.

I tucked fussy cut flowers and a doily under the pic and used a word sticker and thickers for the title.

Enfin, j'ai ajouté des découpes et des autocollants de la collection, j'ai écrit la date et fait des taches avec de l'encre dorée.

I added a couple of die cuts and stickers from the collection, I wrote the date and finished off my page with droplets of gold ink.
