Summer love

Bonjour!

J'espère que vous avez passé un bon week-end! Je commence la semaine avec une nouvelle page inspirée par le Working Title challenge d'août de Paper Issues. Ce mois-ci, Amanda Baldwin nous demande d'inclure le mot "summer" dans le titre d'un projet. Pour ma page, j'ai utilisé la collection Little by Little de Shimelle et American Crafts ainsi qu'une photo de ma petite dernière sur la plage le mois dernier.

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! I'm starting off the week with a new page inspired by the Paper Issues August Working Title challenge. This month, Amanda Baldwin asks us to create a multi word title including the word "summer". For my layout, I used the Little by Little collection by Shimelle and American Crafts along with a photo of my little one on the beach last month.

J'ai tracé des ancres à l'aide d'un gabarit dans différentes feuilles du paper pad puis je les ai découpées avec des ciseaux de précision. Je les ai ensuite placées sur le papier de fond avec de la mousse 3D et je les ai ornées de thickers, de puffy stickers et de boutons en bois de la collection.

I drew anchors using a template on several sheets from the 6x6 pad and cut them with my craft scissors. Next, I placed them on the summery background paper with foam squares and I adorned them with thickers, puffy stickers and wood buttons from the range.

J'ai matté la photo avec d'autres papiers à motif de la collection, un napperon et une fleur et je l'ai collée dans le coin inférieur droit de la page avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir. J'ai ajouté un mot autocollant sur la photo pour compléter le titre et j'ai fini en parsemant des enamel dots blancs sur la page et sur la photo.

I matted the pic with other Little by Little patterned papers, tucked a doily and a fussy cut flower under it and placed it on the bottom right hand corner of the page with foam squares to make it pop a bit more. I added a word thicker on the photo to complete the title and finished off my layout by scattering white enamel dots over the page and on the photo.
